Both Waimea Estate and Spencer Hill have been awarded Double Golds for their Spinyback Pinot Gris 2016 and 2013 Spencer Hill Moutere "Wild One" Pinot Noir respectively, at the prestigious San Francisco International Wine Competition (SFIWC).
After blind tasting 4,618 wines submitted from 1400 wineries in 31 countries around the world, the San Francisco International Wine Competition announced medal winners from its 37th annual competition. Since its introduction in 1980, the SFIWC has set the standard for professional wine judging. Now in its 37th year, the SFIWC is one of the world’s longest-running international wine competitions. SFIWC medallions have become reliable indicators of wine excellence across the globe.

Congratulations Ben, Hamish and the team at Waimea and Phil, Sheryl and the team at Spencer Hill!
